Yeah, I got letter too. . and there's nowhere mentioned about the posting city. But they mentioned as that after fulfilling all annexes and forms, medical fitness report by Civil Surgeon, I have to submit and report to PMD Regional Center Karachi by 5th of Dec.
I was assuming that our posting will be at Islamabad, but now it seems we'll have different posting cities. if so, do they provide accommodation and living expenses.? They mentioned that our salary would be around 25k. Can anyone have idea about net salary?

Your posting area will be the same where you have to report. In letter only basic salary of BS 17 is mentioned. I hope net will be around 39k - 41k after allowances. Regarding accommodation , i'm not sure.

Pay will be bps 17 but anybody knows is there any house hiring or requisition (about 16 k) allowance ?

I have received my provisional medical fitness certificate from Civil Surgeon Lahore after a week long hustle.
BTW medical was like Uniformed person, full pants down.

I request all engineers who are going to join please share as much information as can about this job because no one is giving good comments about salary and promotion.Kindly share all info. abt this job

Federal Government Medical are conducted at this address:
6-Abdur Rehman Chughtai Road (Birdwood Road),
Jail Road, Shadman, Lahore.

this road is opposite to the Met. office lahore at Jail road.

Medical is minimum 2 days procedure. It can be more than that.

Thanks. Where you are appointed for job in lahore or karachi? Is it possible to change city of posting?
