PIPFA is equivalent to CA Foundation. As PIPFA qualified persons only gets CA Foundation exemption if they want to study CA.

Recently PIPFA has introduced Gateway Examination for CA-Inter. If a person who has qualified CA-INTER, he will obtain PIPFA membership by passing one paper

No Idea about PIPFA but as far as I know. A PIPFA qualified can get only CA Foundation exemption.

You are true dear. A PIPFA qualified gets exemptions upto CA-Foundation and also in ICMAP

Only PIFPA (Public sector) is required, no other equivalent exam/degree counts for promotion.

Public Sector PIPFA is compromised of Rules that are practically applicable in govt offices like General Financial Rules, Provident Fund Rules etc. After qualifying PIPFA there is no guarantee that one would automatically be granted grade 17. It is based on vacant posts and availability of them. So it can be a long journey to BPS 17.
