Dear, in my interview Honourable Imtiaz Kazi Sb (DMG Officer) asked that is professional tax fixed, I said yes Sir. Next question why 1 doctor earns less and another earns a lot, why same tax. I replied that Sir basically he has to pay 2 type of taxes. 1 is professional tax to provincial excise department, other is income tax to FBR. Sir Imtiaz Sb replied in nod.

I also want to confirm this if Careem and Uber pay any sort of taxes (sales tax on services, Income Tax to FBR) as mentioned by you Sammer Bhai. If you could please shed more light on this question.

I'm aware of Professional Tax and Income tax differences and how they work. But Uber Careen are under any tax obligations? I'm not sure about this. This is where i need your guidance.

Thank you usama for the information. I believe it to be true. I haven't started preparing for I'm not sure if I'll be named in the Pre-Selection list.

I have started preparing for basic concepts since I'd rudimentary knowledge going into the test and I was never sure of qualifying it in first place. So yeah, here it is. Giving a reading to the following;
Functions of Federal Board of Revenue.
 Fiscal Policy of Pakistan
 Tax Administration/Reforms in Pakistan
 Sales Tax Act 1990 as amended up to July 2014

hm kashif,
I read only any single topic daily, just for mind building, after pre-selection (if), i will start accordingly, because now when i want to study i am not able to remember that what was the syllabus for that post (means what was the income tax chapters). thats why i realized that when time will come, i will study alot.
