Dear, AC is for CSPs who pass out FPO & are posted in field. The job description of IRO, AC & DC is one and the same. IRO is reserved for IIRs.

IRO is currently in BS-16 which will be upgraded to BS-17 in upcoming budget.

Dear Sammar Ellahi, please tell
After how much time an IIR becomes IRO?
And what are the benefits of previous government service to a newly selected IIR?
Thanks.

Dear Sammar Bro,

Thank you for the detailed picture of IIR, i am also among the qualifiers of the recently conducted inspector test. Mr. Sammar, could you also highlight, is this job good for an MBA, Mphil or phd passed student? Since i have seen in the previous pages that some of your colleagues are ACCA and CA etc. Apart from serving the nation what are the career prospects of inspector inland? Waiting for your reply

Dear, previously there were issues but after 198 batch of IIR promotions will be faster. I have draft that after 3 years of service of IIR will become eligible for promotion as IRO. So, anytime in between 3-5 years we will become IRO. The current batch is highly competent.

Departmental exams are also under consideration for newly appointed officials of IIR. Dr. Irshad Sb has promoted a lot of IIRs to IROs & IROs to AC. IRS has one of the best career after DMG (PAS), for CSPs of IRS. Additionally the senior inspectors are drawing 80-90 thousand salary. Which dept pays that much salary?

The greatest advantage of applying through proper channel and declaring previous job experience is that there is a 3 year lean for joining previous job if one is not satisfied with current job.

bro correct me if i am wrong promtion in IRS is deadly slow for IIR because batches of 1993 and 1996 are still waiting for their promotion to IRO. My Father is inpector since 2002 he has been promoted through departmental exams from the post of steno to IIR. and waiting for promotion. in regard of pay best department of government sector. otherwise so so. Bro its everybody preference which department he likes in CSS. according to me i rate PAS at first then PSP then FSP then PCS then IRS come for me.

Dear main advantage of applying through proper channel is that your pay will be protected and also your entry into government service will count from your previous entry into government service. There is advantage to apply for Section Officer as compared to newly hired.
