MANAGEMENT TRAINEE !!
General interview. Related to previous work experience, Future prospects etc.
Last week of February.

Whether trainee or full employee, no company-provided accommodation in Karachi. Accommodation will only be provided by the company if you are posted at PARCO's refinery near Muzaffargarh. Or if you are posted at one of the 5 other PARCO stations in the remote areas of the country, which is very rare for non-technical staff.

Every organization usually provides accommodation to their trainees while in traineeship as an MTO, therefor I was expecting that PARCO might aswell. So I have to come Atleast a week or 10 days earlier now in order to sort out the accommodation problem.

Any good area that's near the office? DHA PHASE 7?

Closest to office would be some residential area of Korangi such as Dar us Salam Society. Some PARCO staff live there as well. But it's very messy.

Or a little further is Defence View. Don't get fooled by the name, it's not Defence. But area is affordable and has many facilities like shops, restaurants, private hostels, gym etc. Several PARCO staff also live there as well and those people have also arranged a van for pick and drop.

DHA is the best option regarding cleanliness, safety, and urban facilities, and is also not too far from office. Significantly more expensive than other areas. An average flat in Defence, good for 4 people would rent for approx 30,000+ p.m (utilities and food are additional of course, and depending on the area water might be a significant expense in many parts of Karachi).

If it's not possible to arrange long-term accommodation before reaching Karachi, a useful plan would be to live initially with someone if possible, or in a private hostel such as those in Defence View. Then look for suitable houses or references to people who may be willing to include another renter with them.

Salam everyone. I'm from karachi. I have cleared the test held on 5th march at IBA main campus. Can someone guide me what will they ask in the interview?? My interview is on April 3rd.
