Default What does on probation mean?
Salam dear members!!

Can anybody guide me about what does on probation for a period for 1 year mean for a permanent government job?

Does it mean the employee can be kicked out if he does'nt follow certain rules at times?

By probation it means that individual is tested either he'll be able to blend in and adapt the official commitments or not and if he's not competent enough the contract of employment will be dissolved by either parties as per contract.in shot you think of it as a testing procedure of employee mannerism.

Probation period is for checking punctuality and attitude of employee. In very rare cases, someone is kicked out . only 1% chance
