You are pass as 2/5 is equal to 40% which was exactly the section-wise criteria of NTS for staff category. If you are seeing remarks "You have failed the test" then it's the deliberate blunder at NTS part. Same has happened to me.

I have been shortlisted for AD Operations.

Where does your total score stands in comparison to the shortlisted candidates? If its below the score of last candidate in the list, they'd probably replace "Fail" to "Not Shortlisted" if complaint is made.

If, however, your total scores are ahead of the last person on the shorlist, you both should email (& call) the NTS asap with snapshot of their criteria, and your score and its calculation of 40%. According to their reply (or lack thereof) the next move can be considered.

First of all, congratulations for such achievement.
There are 35 candidates who have been shortlisted for Assistant (KPK) in which 16 candidates come after my score i.e. 70. The last candidate got 64.

This requires complaint to NTS as soon as possible then. My personal experience with filing objections with them has been mixed, I hope yours go well.

I have sent them email along with screenshots but got auto reply that "dear candidate, if you have any query please contact NTS call center". I will call them today but I have gut feeling that they have committed such blunder deliberately in order to accommodate the candidates with low scores i.e. 3 candidates of 64, 3 of 65, 2 of 66 etc.

I think assistant comes in officers not as staff..for staff grade is 1-5 and for officers it is 6 and above..assistant too has 6 ..may b i m wrong

Clearly mentioned in ad that Assistant is of Grade 3 which is equal to BPS-10. Grade 6 is for Executive Officer Operations Cadre.

from AJK.. overall got 75 marks.. but couldn't make 50% in a section... 7/15= 46%... 🙄😪😓
