Nowadays, it seems as if new testing services are given key projects, may be because of low bid rate or backdoor settlements. Every individual on this forum has adequate experience of appearing in different tests. I want to ask you all from which testing service you were dazzled or at least had a feeling that the test was actually set according to said vacant post?
To me, NTS is actually a substantial testing services providing agency as compared to others. Rest are just taking tests without any mechanism. OTS, PTS, UTS, CTS, NCBMS, BTS, GTS, Islamabad Testing Service, Interior Testing Service and more.
Cabinet Division has given its project to NCBMS that had a massive bug in web database for that I had to personally go to NCBMS Islamabad office for getting it fixed.
A week before, test for the post of Assistant in NCHR was conducted by CTS with a great range of irregularities including an intermediate student as an invigilator.
Why these well reputable govt. department are considering proposals of new testing services?
I appeared in a test conducted by PTS for the post of DEO at Pakistan Engineering Council, where I had to sit on stairs of the school.
Even worse happened in the test of MOFA for Cipher Assistant where I sat under flyover with no tent.
Considering less fee factor - how will these agencies pay to invigilators, supervisors and consultants, printing services, office staff, courier services and other expenses, with that much low fee.
These all questions are just giving me a headache. I don't know how to raise voice against them and to put an end to this newly established system of corruption?

Brother in my experience OTS is worst of all. First they don't provide a chance to edit application which is somehow bearable as a web generated application but they must understand the human error if someone report it to them. I Applied for cypher assistant, assistant and UDC in mofa but my applications except UDC were rejected due to a minor mistake ALTHOUGH i sent many complaints explaining the issue but they closed all.. (still i accept life doesn't give you second chance so its on me). But when i appeared in the UDC test OTS turned out to be epitome of mismanagement, took half an hour to find my roll number because they were put randomly on the Notice board sheet, invigilator (a mature women) came 10 minutes late and then she took extra 15 minutes for attendance. Then came the paper which was prepared thinking that PH.D in English literature students will attempt it for UDC. In another case, i applied for assistant in bureau of immigration in last dec, but there was no update from them on their website for 6 months even I thought post is cancelled or postponed and they will inform whenever they will conduct test but they didn't inform and now i came to know that test has been conducted.

Overall experience of NTS and PTS is good except one time when a test of assistant in planning and development dept was this much easy that 90% of candidates got 90 plus marks so they had to cancel the seat.


As far as salaries are concerned, they get a handsome amount of money as test fee enough to cover the cost of project and make a profit. A large number of unemployed youth apply against a single post.

I also support your stance regarding OTS. Indeed, Questions of English sections are asked as if we are Shakespeare(s) of modern world. Dude, how will a matric pass candidate applying for the post of LDC understand the poetic rhythm of the questions? This is totally insane. Besides, PTS is also full of enough irregularities. As stated earlier, I sat on stairs of school while appearing in one of the tests conducted by PTS.

I have also observed that PTS, OTS, UTS, and CTS syllabus is somewhat based on memory, not intelligence or other skills like problem solving, brainstorming, and decision making, whereas NTS always has something to open minds with such as basic arithmetic, analytical reasoning, intelligence, verbal reasoning, essay creativity and brainstorming and more.
Lastly, the key purpose of posting here is to find a source to complain about these ridiculous services. Can we consult Federal Ombudsman Office for certain issues as above?

You raised a very good issue. I think, first we should make a complain to Federal Ombudsman and report this issue. Second, we can write a letter to supreme court of Pakistan and mention all these things. There should be an end to this practice, because every day there appears to be a new testing agency.

So how we do this?
I am ready to file a complaint, along with a copy to supreme court.
Second, is there any licensing authority for checking quality standards of Testing Services?
