If scale has been upgraded from 14 to 16 , then FPSC has to conduct the exam of Custom and income tax inspector. It means these vacancies should be considered cancelled.

Seniors please guide on that issue...

I agree. According to rules FPSC should conduct recruitment of Income tax inspector and Custom Inspector now and previously announced seats should stand cancelled.

In my view, before issuing verdicts on the Inspector posts to be deemed cancelled, we need to understand that Federal Board of Revenue/federal government has not yet upgraded the scale of Inspectors officially, for if FBR/federal government were to do this, this would create a chaos in the department as there are already Inland Revenue Officers (BPS 16) working in RTOs under whom work Inspectors, FBR/federal government is perhaps going to raise scales of almost all categories of its employees in Inland Revenue, from LDC to Member FBR. Rest assured, FBR/federal government will find a way out in order for the post of Inspector to remain valid for appointment of the applicants.

As per informed sources, FBR field offices will themselves manage the whole recruitment process.

i want 2 apply for da post of inspector icome tax...
but bechlor dregee is in 3rd division and my MBA degree in ist divison ... am i eligiable for this post bcoz they only mention garduate for this post in advertsiment.

Zubair Shah, also enclose the attested copy of your CNIC, your Certificate of Domicile alongwith two photographs of yours (passport size), and please don't forget to attach the Matriculation degree and all other relevant degrees/Mark Sheets/Grade Sheets as referred to by FBR on its website with the word "Testimonials", though in all other parts of the world testimonials mean something else.

in advertisement which person is mentioned at top of page.like commissioner of income tax regional office,or,collector etc
