We are arranging a peaceful protest infront of OGDCL house islamabad. Ogdcl is purposely delaying the hiring of trainees again 2012 advertisement, spent millions from ogdcl funds to conduct 2 NTS tests. If we stand together, they will have to hire all the candidates appeared in an interview.

To recruit the employees both internal and external methods are used with in the OGDCL, butanalysis reveals that the corporation gives preference to the internal method. The main draw back of this method is that it blocks the way for new generation which carry new ideas and knowledge.Further more the recruitment system is also influenced by the nepotism of politicians. Not onlyrecruitment of employees is influenced by the nepotism of politicians, but selection also. Employeesfor high positions are selected on the basis of personal relations and blood relationship. ThoughOGDCL is the largest and very multifaceted organization, in spite of that there is no computerizeddata based system to record the data of employees

OGDCL is the most corrupt organization of the country. Even though it generates profits, this is not because of the policies adopted by so called think-tanks and the management. Its because of the nature of the business it do, and the legal and administrative rights given to the company to explore oil and gas.
Any company, given the same legal rights to do business within the country, will generate far better profits than OGDCL. OGDCL management thinks that since the company is generating profits, they are not even answerable to PM house. LOL How can they hire employees internally? Is it their family business company or what? OGDCL claims to have more than 10,000 Employee's and they can't even hire 500 graduate engineers annually on merit? why? why do they outsource all the projects to the private companies? There is no R&D in the organization and they import all the equipment from the first world. Why don't they hire Pakistani engineers and spend on them to initiate R&D projects? Why OGDCL is reluctant to hire trainees batch every year? Its because their monopoly on the company policies will be challenged!! Guys just stop asking stupid questions regarding the no of vacancies and all. Why do u think that these incompetent people will let u enter into this prestigious organization? lol They will never ever allow people entering in the company on merit. And they have always hired the employee's internally and always tried to avoid the outside hiring, if not, they decease the no of vacancies for the 'outsiders'. |

Guys! We will win this case easier than you think!
There are certain policy flaws in OGDCL due to incompetent management and we are going to challenge the company's policy in Supreme Court through professional corporate lawyers. Already, we have solid evidence regarding the incompetency of HR department. Trainee's should be given a special grade in an organization, After their training, they should be given right in the policy making of the company, speedy promotions and all. Exact number of engineers working in the company. when and how they were appointed? PEC registration for all the engineers working in the company. Why certain maintenance and operations of projects are outsourced? cost vs benefit analysis. How much amount OGDCL spent on CSR related projects? We can demand a complete audit from the court from the reputable foreign auditing firm. Why it didn't spend in hiring engineers graduates on merit basis and started R&D related projects all these years? How much it spent on NTS tests and how many engineers it hired on merit uptill now? OGDCL management outsource many projects for the kickbacks to the local as well as foreign companies in the form of cash/foreign trips etc. |

We will ask very few basic questions from the OGDCL's management in the presence of camera. Questions will be related to the HR policy, total number of employees, internal hiring, outsourcing of projects, research and development (R&D), Total no engineering graduates hired by OGDCL on merit since 2010, un-necessary delays in the recruitment, salaries of the technicians,Best International Practices (ADCO, ADNOC, NDC, ARAMCO etc) related to GTPs etc. |
