OGDCL was compelled by high court order to resume hiring process and they have done so with selecting minimum number of people.

If u people decide to look towards court once again , if wish you people success , but i think it will be fruitless effort , as they can easily say that we have hired people and if you remember they mentioned in their advertisement that the deserve the right to reduce/enhance number of vacancies, exact number of vacancies was never disclosed though.

Moreover if they select us under pressure of court or any authority , they will kick us out once training period is over , its their history and they are not legally bound to retain anyone.

I guess we should move on , World is not over with OGDCL.

Since, the no of vacancies were not mentioned in the advertisement, the number of vacancies can also be increased through court order. We only need to hire the best lawyer from the market. Thats all

OGDCL conducted a test throughout pakistan in 2013 and paid a heavy amout to NTS for this and then stopped the recruitment process? Why they try to conduct nts test over n over again? Who gets the kick back? Where is the Haroon Rasheed these days? Ogdcls HR policy must be audited from the top auditing firm. I believe!

he National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started probing various corruption related matters in the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), it is learnt.

In a letter NAB has requested information from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources as "complaint verification is under process in NAB regarding corruption and corrupt practices in OGDCL".

The Bureau has started investigating the following cases: (i) Corruption in hiring of vehicles on oil fields of OGDCL and pilferage of High Speed Diesel (HSD) through these vehicles; (ii) unjustified, unallocated funds of Rs 600 million in civil and engineering support services in the department during tenure of Raja Arshad Sultan as an acting General Manager (GM); (iii) involvement of officers in corruption in civil and mechanical project/bidding by not following proper procedure for drilling of wells and hiring of consultants especially in wells of Quadirpur; (iv) appointment of Tariq Mahmood Mirza as manager civil in spite of lack of qualification and experience required for the job of civil engineering; (v) involvement of Habib ur Rehman Private Secretary (PS) to Managing director (MD) in exaggerated estimates for pre drilling works and making of fudge bills claims of contractor; (vi) awarding a contract of mechanical engineering and pipelines without following Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules; (vii) illegal construction of 18 private houses for the officers of civil and engineering supply services through m/s Taj & Company (A contractor of OGDCL). (viii) Huge difference in estimated and sublets amount of BANJARO pipelines and its allied civil works.

Default How OGDCL made ghost appointments from 2011 to date?

ISLAMABAD: Sub-Committee of Public Accounts Committee (PAC), on Friday directed the Auditor General to verify and scrutinize the lists of the employees of OGDCL and present before the committee with in 15 days.

The meeting of the PAC sub- committee was held under the conniver ship of MNA Mian Abdul Manan, here at Parliament House.

The ministry of Petroleum briefed the committee that there are no ghost employees in OGDCL and all employees getting salaries through banks.

PAC was informed that Pirkoh and Loti gas fields are working in Balochistan, these fields were producing 120 to 150 MMSCFD gas but now it reduced up to 15 to 20 MMSCF.

The ministry informed that due to less work in these fields the employees seems more as compare to previous but no new recruitment had made in the department.

Everyone knows that OGDCL made political appointments in late 90's. Who are these people who decide the HR policy of our national organization? When and how they were appointed? I have seen technicians appointed on engineers seats.Where is PEC law?

There have been many un-lawful appointments in OGDCL since 2010, officials even hired blood-relations in their so called home organization.

OGDCL explore oil and gas from our provinces, and in return it should provide the job opportunity to the people of respective province. Its policies should be more focused on training more Pakistani's for oil and gas industry. Apart from spending on health, education, talent hunt, scholarships etc, its foremost CSR should be hiring trainees and providing them permanent jobs on merit basis every year.

OGDCL is more focused on outsourcing projects related to maintenance and operation to to third-parties instead of training and hiring on merit. Corrupt management has always shaped the policies of an organization in a way that can benefit them personally in the form of kick backs.

Pakistan is changed now. OGDCL's management is still living in denial as if its Zardari's rule. PM's case is in the SC. how can these political appointees decide the number of vacancies? lol

We are going to file a petition in SC (Supreme Court)/IHC through professional corporate lawyer, CC to: PAC (Public Account committee), Auditor General, Director FIA and NAB.

We won the case before and we will win this case again Insha'Allah.

We will make sure that no corrupt official remains in the organization.

Sooner or later, all those called for an interview will be offered traineeship. There shouldn't be any doubt in that. A well known isb based law firm told me this. Corrupt OGDCLs management is already under investigations. And there is solid evidence regarding irregularities found in HR and HR policy departments.

OGDCL is just doing formality by selecting some candidates. HR Ogdcl think that they can deceive court's decision too. now they are hiring only 4-5 trainees per discipline. Before that, I have heard that seats for every category were 20-30. Suddenly Hr ogdcl changed mind. Why are they doing with the engineers. In February 2016, 49 assistant drillers trainees have been selected 2012 process, but now only 28-30 seats for all engineers.

Lol.. there were more than 300 seats against 2012 advertisement. OGDCL made illegal appointments 2012 onwards. These political appointees of hr policy makers reduced the trainees to few. Organization which claims to have more 10k employees can't accommodate 500 trainee engineers annually?

Massive OGDCL HR scandal on the way!

Unnecessary delay to finalize the no of vacancies for 2012 advertisement is because of the illegal appointments of 2012,13 and 14. Don't worry, This time they won't deceive the courts decision and they will have to appoint all the trainee's called for an interview. Many OGDCL officials are already under physical remand by FIA on corruption charges.

OGDCL spent millions of rupees in conducting two NTS tests in 2012. They can't just hire few trainees per discipline. How can they justify this in court?
