2.Differential Equations (From Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Erwin Kreyszig)
3.Complex Variables i.e. s-transforms, z-transforms, mappings etc (From Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Erwin Kreyszig or Complex Analysis by George Cain)
4.Boolean Algebra (Digital Design by Morris Mano)
5.Vector Algebra (From Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Erwin Kreyszig or 7th Chapter of F.Sc 2nd year Mathematics)
6.Matrices (F.Sc 1st year Mathematics)
7.Statistics(From Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Erwin Kreyszig)
8.Mechanics, Wave theory, Thermodynamics, Electricity and Magnetism, light and optics, modern Physics (From F.Sc Physics or for detailed study Physics for Scientists and Engineers by Serway and Jewett)
9.Electric Circuits, Electric and Magnetic Field theory, digital logic, Analog and Digital Electronic Circuits, Linear control Systems, Power Systems (From Sumitra Professional Series Electrical Engineering Objective Type by M.Handa and A.Handa)
10.Analog and Digital Communication (From Modern Digital and Analog Communication Systems by B.P Lathi)
If anyone needs any book (except number 9 Objective book which is available in the market in hard form) in soft form may contact...
-----------------------------
general part consists of 20 fsc easy physics questions. e.g unit for planks constant, gravitational constant...simple numericals using famous formulae as p=v2/R , k.E = (Iw^2)/2 , power of lense = 1/f etc. definitions(in MCQ form ) of hall effect, guassian law...frequency of seconds pendulum, current through a resistance (circuit diagram given). if you are physicist, dont worry at all about that part.

in genertal part 10 Q of enlish...synonyms,antonyms, correct usage of english, two or three Qs about a paragraph,i.e comprehension. If you have ever taken GAT general, english part is like that.

Now the math...main thing to prepare in general part...20 Qs
mostly 2 Qs from each topic....probability.matrices specially eigen value, differential equations, integeration, probability, limits, optimal value problems, complex numbers, series.

50 Qs from your subject....fsc,Bsc,Msc level. your subject?
remember only those Qs on which i worked, i attempted...some are here

1- whats angle b/w two lines, eqns of lines were given. (after finding slopes from eqns put them in formula for finding angle)

2- f(x,y,z) = x * sin (y/x)......find fx (2,pi/2) .......(differential eqns related Q)

3- if an organizing company of seminar charge 600 Rs per head, 1000 students get registered. if fee is decresed by 20 per head. 1000 more get registered..what is optimal profit fee?

4- matrix given, find eigen values

5- semi elliptical path is 40 cm wide. Highest point is 15 cm from center. what is height of point at 10 cm from center.

Questions related integeration, probability, laplace transform, word problems, conic section, complex variables, differential equations.....one or two Qs from eech topic

Guys I've applied for both Jr.Power Engineer and also post graduate fellowship....My roll number and test timing and center is same in both the call letters....So don't worry about the pattern....It will be same as of fellowship candidates given on the PIEAS site....
God bless all engineers.

How much time it would take for result announcement, does anyone know. ?

Default Negative marking.

I have seen some past paper, and I think there will be negative marking in PAEC tests.

Can someone confirm this?

Thanks.

Yes there will be -ve marking; each correct answer will carry 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer. Source: PIEAS sample test for engineers. Can be downloaded from PIEAS website.

If you wanna do all things quickly go for shaume's series book of each topic...
for 2nd part just open your fsc physics and maths.....(if u haven't mentioned Physics as subject)....for vocabulary u should use any GAT book....or google "barrons GRE list"....
