3. revenu receipt-revenue expenditure

It was Profit is equal to, Not Net Profit
Answer was Revenue Receipt - Revenue Expenditure

It becomes Net Profit when you less all other expenses which includes Other Expense, Tax and Interest Expenses and etc from Revenue.

Gentelman difference of all receipts and all payments can never be equal to profit. because in all payments you consider cost of acquiring a fixed asset such as building machinary etc, which is a capital expenditure.
