Dear Regulator as per my information the entire recruitment process was rolled back in the meeting of Interior Secretary and it was decided to announce the posts of BPS-17 to BPS-20 through FPSC.

Is the recruitment process by NACTA itself still alive after so much fuss? I did not contact NACTA to verify my result.

NACTA staff: lacking basic manners

ISLAMABAD: As the government is eager to establish a dedicated national counterterrorism infrastructure for countering the menace of terrorism, it seems to have forgotten to conduct a session on ‘office behaviour’ with those tasked with the setting up of these counterterrorism outfits.
The newly-functioning Nacta recently started holding tests and interviews for job openings. The interviews were supposed to start early in the morning but due to the ‘busy schedule’ and ‘efficient management’, the interviews started way past the scheduled time, despite the fact that most of the applicants had travelled to Islamabad from across the country. Moreover, mismanagement was rampant. The staff were not cooperative and misbehaved with interviewees, especially with female candidates. I personally feel that institutions that hire staff with such qualities cannot work effectively for this creates an environment not conducive to attracting well-qualified people. Each and every candidate came with high qualifications, but they were treated as if they were second-class citizens.
If the government is really willing to address the menace of terrorism, the first step should include hiring competent people who are professional and sensible enough to work in such a sensitive institution.

FPSC to conduct exam for NACTA recruitments

ISLAMABAD - To ensure transparency and uphold merit, the federal interior ministry has decided that Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) should be entrusted the job to make fresh recruitments in National Counter-Terrorism Authority (NACTA).
Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had earlier directed to halt the recruitment process in NACTA and got cancelled the written examination for different posts after complaints of cheating and fraudulent activities during the assessment exam held at Liaquat Gymnasium, Islamabad, on September 1.
Acting National Coordinator NACTA, Haider Ali, while talking to The Nation the other day confirmed that recruitment process would be carried out by the FPSC. He said that the government had in principal decided to hand over this job to the commission.
A section of the press earlier had reported that the candidates, during assessment examination held by NACTA for 130 vacant posts including 34 officers in the authority, used cellular phone and other modern electronic devices to solve the papers, besides they copied answer sheet of one another. Some 5,000 candidates appeared in the assessment examination.

thank you very much for use full information...I have one question....as you mention that written test taken on 1st September is cancelled.......so what about the test taken on 5th September that was purely physical test for SI,ASI and constable.......
Is the test taken on 5th September is also canceled or they will call the winner candidate of that day?

Apparently the entire recruitment process has been halted. Even though test for SIs, ASIs & Constables was held after the notorious 1st Sept: test, recruitment against those posts has been put on the back burner. On my interview day, they were contemplating to hold or not to hold running test for female constables. Even interviews for Member and DGs postponed due to APC at Islamabad were not held after so much uproar.

Seemingly, due to the flawed process of recruitment, present NACTA administration has lost its integrity. Ch. Nisar and his Interior Ministry is calling the shots. Henceforth, Interior ministry may make all the appointments under its very nose. Therefore, it has decided to refer to FPSC the recruitment against posts of Inspector to DG as lower cadre recruitment may not be under the mandate of FPSC.

For posts of SIs, ASIs and constables, in my crude opinion, they may assign this task to IG Islamabad or IG Punjab to recommend suitable candidates after taking physical/psychological test. The true picture could be verified by calling the NACTA office.

Since Interior Ministry rules the roost in NACTA so recruitment against all other posts will be made by recruitment committee supervised directly by Interior Secretary.

Irony of the fate is that green shrubs were burnt along with dry wood. Merit was sacrificed at the altar of corruption and malafide intentions.

Query regarding seat quota for induction in NACTA though FPSC....

Suppose NACTA jobs are advertised through FPSC, the question is whether the announced number of seats will be according to the quota given in the previous NACTA advertisement or FPSC can intervene or change that quota according to its own rules/regulations?

Also, will the qualification and experience requirement remain same or any modification in it is possible?
