no, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but english portion required 15 out of 30..you didnt not make it as 50% in individual section,and 60% overall was passing criteria of assistant director's posts

If there are more candidates who has fulfilled the passing criteria for the posts , then there are chances that EOBI may take another exam of those who has cleared the passing criteria. and merit will be made from the second test.

passing criteria for assistant is 50% aggregate.
40 % in each section. 40% of 30 is 12.
it is obvious that you are qualified for the next stage.

it clearly states for assistant post 40% in each module and 50 % total...
so 40% of 30 is 12....

so you have passed the test.... if you have 40% in each and 50% total
