Dear AHKK, Thanks a lot for all the clarifications. I have one question, before getting posted to our location, will we spend some time at SNGPL head office?

Hi, Alhamdulillah got selected in Sales. However I would be grateful if someone with knowledge can guide about how boarding/lodging is managed at SNGPL for those working out of their home station?

You will spend about a week in head office, to get a general understanding of the working of your department. After that, you will be posted somewhere. Then a month or so later, you will undergo a five day orientation program at Sui Northern Gas Training Institute, Kot Lakhpat, in which you will get presentations about all major departments and get to know their working, distribution, transmission, billing, sales etc. There is no boarding or messing provided during your stay in head office or if you are posted outside your home station. However TA/DA will be given for the five day orientation program if you come from outside Lahore. Those in transmission and telecom do get accommodation. And others can try to get accommodated in their hostel but that is upto them whether they accommodate or not.

Dear Ahkk, Is the same true for the accountants?
I am from Sindh so it is very difficult for me to arrange all these things, particularly accommodation.

Yes. Since SNGPL operates in Punajb and KPK, you will be posted outside your home station and you will have to arrange your accommodation. But SNGPL salary is decent and if you are single, you won't have much issue. You will be able to get a shared room for around 5,6 k per month.

Thanks dear for sharing useful and important information. Kindly tell me that whether HR department refer candidates on same day to panel hospitals? after sample collection how much time is taken by the hospital for final medical fitness report? and whether expenses of medical will be born by the candidate or company?

AHKK, It is written in letter that transmission/compression and telecom department people get an axtra 10 % allowance..Why is that so ? is the job hard for these departments ?
and also compression department people dont get accomodations in hostels by sngpl ?

I just read my letter and its written engineer (comp ) grade 2...so i guess my department is compression too. where is the headoffice of compression department ? i hope that i get posted somewhere near lahore.

I am also from Sindh and work here in SNGPL. And face a lot of difficulty in finding accomodation. But, Yes, You have to arrange it yourself. You can find very good hostels in Lahore locality.

Please any senior member share about the selection criteria of IT/MIS... i have 64 in nts... and good academic record... and 1.1 year experience of development.. interview was also good...
Don't know why rejected me and other eligible candidates?????????????????????????????????????
