FPSC's mentality is whoever has applied for an accountancy related field, he should be asked Economics questions. Accountancy maybe somewhat connected to Economics, but it is 90% something else. Even the basic term "Capital" in both disciplines does not have the same meaning.

They are hiring auditors and auditors must know accounting but not economics - economics is a social science for distribution and allocation of resources whereas audit is just checking of records according to set standards - dont know interviewer mental level

Again fpsc has issued interview programme for some senior auditors . whats happening,when they will issue provincial qouta

any identification of the persons or any sort of list mentioning the name of the candidates?

I am from lahore, Punjab and in the waiting list , not sure about receiving letter for interview.

No name is mentioned only dates and place of interview are mentioned.. you may check in fpsc site under general recruitment heading
