Is their any requirement of driving license to apply for the post of PO & JPO?
Yes, valid driving license (Car & Motorcycle) is mandatory to apply for the post of PO & JPO.

exactly. how would you be proficient in driving in driving without a liscense.and if you are proficient one should get liscense asap. its illegal to drive without a liscense and people here expect that motorway will not require liscense..

Yes bro same is my thinking...NH&MP is most efficient deptt of South Asia...and it is childish to think that they would not require license...and they have mentioned on their website also....so we should make lic. asap

Assalamulaikum,
Moderators are requested to assemble the different threads regarding the announcement of Patrol Officer Posts in National Highways and Motorway Police. I will try to answer the frequently asked questions in different threads regarding the above cited posts;

Eligibility criteria:

1) Qualification: Second Class or Grade‘C’ Bachelor’s Degree (B.A/B.Sc/B.Com etc.

2) Minimum Physical Standard of Fitness: Minimum Height: 5'-8" (Relaxable by 2" for male and by 1" for female candidates of Baluchistan only).
Minimum Chest Measurement: 33"-35" (Relaxable by 1").

Driving license (LTV) is not required at this stage.

The salary of Patrol Officer (B-14) is around 40,000/=
No promotion structure up to now, but the current IGP (NH&MP Zulfiqar Cheema) is trying to fashion infrastructure.

(No relaxation in Height, Chest etc)

Remember, this is corruption free department, medical facilities along with residence are provided at the duty station. Duty schedule is round the clock patrolling for (08) hours in three shifts. After a month, 04 days Rest.
