1st member concentrated on my job.
1. What is DTE?
I answered DTE is abbreviation of District Teacher Educator.
2. What is DSD?
I answered Directorate of Staff Development
3. What are duties of DTE?
I told duties in details.
4. So you are a trainer, To whom you train?
I answered that I train Public school teachers.
5. From where you got training in order to train teachers.
I replied: sir I got induction training from DSD lahore and then our training is conducted at regular intervals at district level.
6. How this training process goes?
I told the training process of teachers in details.
7. There is lot of criticism on Danish schools, what is your opinion about danish schools?
I replied that instead of spending money on danish schools it is better to spend this money on public schools to provide missing facilities. Public schools lack basic facilities and many public schools dont have the clean drinking water. So to spend more money on public schools instead of starting new projects like danish schools or any other such kind would bring positive outcomes.
8. I have heard that good scales have been given to teachers in punjab.
I replied that there are lot of discussions in process for revising the scales ov teachers but still teachers are working on previous scale... (I mentioned the scales of teachers at all levels.

Then he referred to 2nd member. Following questions asked by 2nd member.

1. What are flaws in our taxation system?
I answered that sir we are relying more on indirect taxes. Currently most of tax revenue is collected by the way of indirect taxation. We have to move towards direct taxation.
2. How tax network could be expanded?
Sir first of all our parliamentarians should set an example by paying income tax.
2ndly there are reservations of taxpayers that our tax money is not properly used and there is lot of wastage of tax money on useless expenditures. So there is also a need of removing these reservations.
3. As you said we rely more on indirect taxes, but income tax is paid by a huge junk of population, then why you are saying that we are relying on indirect taxes.

I replied that most of the income tax we are collecting is in shape of withholding tax. Which is systemically deducted from income at source. Income tax returns are very limited and less than 5 percent people pay income tax by filing returns.

4. What are job duties of IIR?
I described the job duties.
5. If enquiry is made and assessment is also made. But still a person is not willing to pay tax. What methods can be used for recovery of tax from such person?
I replied that he can be imprisoned, tax can be recovered by sale of his movable or immovable property.
6. Does law provide any thing for his bank accounts?
Yes sir his babk accounts can be freezed.

Sorry sir I dont know.
4. What is difference between federation and confederation?
Federation is soverign state divided into different federing units. Powers are distributed anong centre and federating units. While confederation is an association of 2 or more sovereign states.
5. Any example of confederation?
Sir OIC and SAARC are examples.
6. Did OIC perfomed its role properly?
Sir OIC failed on all fronts and did not perform well.
