Functions of fbr is also available on fbr official site but it was too brief so if someone hve notes or anylink regarding fiscal policy and functions of fbr please do share it.

and to what post it can reach max.
Promotion to next scale can take around 10-12 years so its slow but you will be starting from bps 16 which is gazatted so its a good start anyways. Your salary will start from around 28k but within a year it will reach around 40k. The max an inspector can usually go is upto AC.

I am not sure about it thats why dont want to mislead you. Just a hint when I gave paper it was English, General Knowledge and basic algebra and analytic questions.

To all those who are asking about books to prepare I am sorry I am not sure about that and even regarding eligibility I think fpsc can give u the best answer. Office timings are 9 - 5. sat sunday off. Its a uniform job specially when field work is required but in fbr offices usually inspectors dont wear uniform although they should. Job is tax collection, recoveries etc income tax and sales tax both come under the jurisdiction of inland revenue.
