Piece of advice
I am just done with my GRE with quantitative score of 770/800 and verbal score of 670/800. I want to give a piece of advice to the people planning to appear in GRE.
1- Start verbal preparation at least six months before your intended test date. As it is very hard to increase your verbal score in a short time. 2- Don’t waste your time on GRE vocabulary. It took me six months to learn about 4000-5000 GRE worlds. And this thing is showing up in my GRE verbal score of 95th percentile. BUT everything is changed now. GRE revised does not test your vocabulary level as much as did the prior GRE. 3- Improve your reading skills. Read actively stuff like Business News & Financial News - The Wall Street Journal - Wsj.com and Arts & Letters Daily - ideas, criticism, debate 4- GRE math is very easy to beat…..You can improve your score in just 1-2 months 5- Make a schedule. Do math practice one hour in the morning and one in evening. 6- Start with Barron and move to Nova GRE Bible if you are aiming at 700+ Best of luck

Mmmmmmmmm....I prepared from the above sources. I did not do anything extra-ordinary. Just made a time table and stick to it. Remember to include everything in your daily plan. Its far better to study 1 hour for 30 days than to study 10 hours for 3 days...look although you study for 30 hours but the impact of 1x30 will be gr8 in boosting your analytical and other GRE related skills.
I am Mphil Economics, planning to apply USA for a phd program. Admission in a USA usually is accompanied by a generous scholarship. At least this is what I am hoping. I have also applied for Fulbright program but I am not very hopeful bcoz of my poor grades

All the information regarding HEC scholarship is available on HEC website. As far as proposal is concerned you can always search google. And if you still need help....I can send you some useful links.
Your GAT score is good. But you seems to be confused about your proposed field. You mentioned three fields of interest i.e. mass communication, fine arts and English literature. You should check HEC website, whether they are offering scholarship in these fields or not. My impression is...English literature is not good for HEC scholarship. There is not much scope of this study in countries offering HEC funding. But you should research...talk to your teachers etc. for guidance. I would choose fine arts (Although I am unsure about your academic background) all the best and dont hesitate to ask any information
