My friend`s friend is studying in China on the Cultural exchange scholarship batch 2010 and he said that he didn`t signed a bond with IPC as they gave an option to them either take airfare and monthly allowance and sign a bond or they can simply go to china without monthly allowance and airfare without signing a bond.

Now, I was thinking that why we sign a deed with IPC as they are not giving us anything but when I asked IPC about this, they says NO you dont have that option, you have to sign a bond with us before leaving.

so my request to those people who lives in ISB to go to IPC and plz confirm this matter personally as they dont answer us properly on call.
i visited ipc office on 13 that person mr. sadozai was so rude, my brother inquired about the same matter and also about changing study programme or discipline but he said so that we will withdraw your scholarship, i asked him about the stipend and airfare from pak govt & he said we didn't facilitated students form previous 2,3 batches if you wana avail the scholarship you have to go to china on your own, they will be giving you rs:25000 which is a good sum

Please can anyone tell me , if i don't get NOC and fly to china what will be the scenario? Actually i will get visa on 21st August and IPC guys will be available on 27th August(they told me on phone) and as per my university
Admission Notice i have to register between 27th to 28th august at the University. I am emailing my university at their multiple email addresses but all in vain and they are also not attending the calls too. please Guide me i m in a real mess now.suggestions are appreciated.

I have got admission in PhD at"Gratuate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Schiences", Beijing. Is there anybody going to this Uni or Beijing during 2nd week of September so we can plan our journey togather.

Default Re-imbusement of air ticket
Today, I called on IPC (Mr Anwar Farooq) they surely told that no funds would be given by IPC for purchasing air ticket. I think we shlould try to get "Travel Grant" from HEC. But HEC will also take about 2 months for re-imbursement. It is sad that receipt of stipend from IPC is highly uncertain and we might have to suffice on stipend from CSC only.

Will the IPC reimburse the ticket after signing of their PC?
will they pay us some amount if their project will be signed or not?

anyone has any idea about that?

I have booked my flight for 6 sept through air china
I have my visa and my ticket, Now i will apply for the NOC letter

Today, My friend left for china as he have to join his uni before 26 August so hopefully he will provide a good info after few days
