Next day i visited their office of Shaheed e millat secretariate at 11th floor. i was directed to meet an officer in his room i asked the same question about my chance for scholorship, he was their with a madom. by listening to my marks madom said "aap bohot door hain merit list mein". then officer said call me after 26 of this month then he will be in a position to tell me where i exactly stand in the merit list b/c nts has not provided merit list yet. After that i decided not to live in fools paradise and start looking for other options. Now i think that candidates with more than 80 marks have bright chance and candidates with less 70 should not expect much from the merit list.GOD knows better.

did you ask about the number of seats? can you name the person who told you this information?

its not possible even for Punjab as only 20-30 students have scored 80 and above marks and if you remember noorahmed, few pages back,a senior member, missali, tod that this time there are 300 scholarships.

salam all

What is the latest update regarding the final selected merit list? Will it be uploaded on the website?

How do I know if I am selected or not?

Is there an email address or a ptcl# where I could call and know about the status regarding the merit list.

I will appreciate if anyone can help me in this regard.

Thankyou

Bro when he listen to my marks "62" and said app nahn ho sakty" then i immediately said " sir mein KPK say hoon" in the hope to have lower merit in KPK but he said" hoon paray". from his language i realizes that the merit is too high.Wallah -O-Alam.

Yes Bro i asked the question of number scholarships but his answer was not clear he said " scholorships to sara sal atay rehtay hain lekin humain andazza ho jata hay k kon merit py aa sakay ga ore kon nahn". and i think the name of officer in Shaheed-e- Millat Secretariate was Anwar Saddozai. If i am wrong then i am sure that he was Saddozai. He gave me his number to call after 26 of this month i am sharing that number you can call him to get detail. His number is 0519204225.you can confirm from the number.

Default Just contacted IPC

Update. I just called IPC. Could not talk to Sadozia sb but the person who attended told me that at 65 (Engineering, Punjab) I'm low in merit. He said he could not comment on the number of scholarships at this time but asked me to stay in touch.

Further he said that there are about 49 candidates at 65 and marks are the sole criteria. I did not ask him further.

What I'm thinking is that how can they decide between students with equal score. Clearly they may (or may not) decide upon previous educational records.

Anyone else trying to call plz make a list of questions first.

Default direct apply to the universities

If someone wants to study in china, then S/he can also apply directly to university of his/her choice and the best way to do it.

First--> Search the suitable universities.
Second--> Go to their website and find an email id to contact with them.
Third--> Email them about getting the admission on their university on CSC scholarship as almost every one gets a sholarship from CSC who ever study in china but it`s not for under-graduates as they have to study on self.
Fourth--> Hopefully you will get respond from them and then, you can ask the complete process and probably will get a scholarship.
Fifth--> Mostly, all the people who are on scholarship gets the book allowance, monthly allowance, residence place so you only need to arrange a ticket.

The most important thing is that chinese people give preference to pakistani students so best of luck

Alhamdolillah, it`s very good as my first semester is almost complete now

You guys should be very patience about the process of this scholarship as last year it took more than 10 months for the complete process. They have only announced the score, may be they will announce merit list in the Feburary and then asked you guys for the document in the March or April as they asked us last year and then they announce our university names in the start of august.

So be patient guys, I know its very hard but calling them again and again won`t change anything.
I think you should also focus on other things and stay conneced with IPC about your status.
