Dear Fellows, I think those candidates who've qualified for the scholarship have, already, been contacted by the HEC as one of my friends was contacted two weeks ago, but HEC wouldn't put their names on the website until the final selection. Regards

I don't think that it is possible. There must be many members here who are for sure eligible to be shortlisted for this scholarship, but still none of them have been contacted by HEC.

I came to know that the Lahore High Court has ruled out the requirement to pass GAT tests for MPhil and PhD admissions in any university in Pakistan. So is HEC also going to remove condition of GAT general for indigenous scholarships? If any one has some news regarding it. kindly do share...

The committee meetings have been finalized on 7th march and it is being informed for all the Indigenous Scholarships Applicants, that the result is expected to be announced at the end of this week or coming week, according to officials of HEC.

HEC places the result as soon as it is announced on its website and email to those who are successful.. more you can check your application status on HEC login.. wish u gudluck

Please share only authentic information as to have this site more useful for prospective students about the scholorship..... the news that hec has announced the result or have contacted the successful students, are baseless. wait for the coming couple of days, every one will know it.

Default HEC indigenous fellowship merit list
Well friends, reliable sources from HEC just told me that the applicants should wait for a few more days before the merit list is uploaded on HEC webpage. I am talking about the applications submitted against the advertisement announced in July 2013.
