@AHKK Wonder how many people on this forum got nominated by the IPC for this year's Commonwealth Scholarship?
Yes, that is because IPC still use the hard copy submission method. Most of the other nominating agencies send their nominations' data online. But because IPC follows the hardcopy submission method, we practically had to complete our forms by 25th. Not sure about number of people from this forum, but I read somewhere that one year, as many as 19 out of 30 shortlisted people received scholarships. Mostly it's between 10 and 15. applyng through NTS is only way for it???the scholarship of diiferent universities hav diff dates..cnt we apply directly???please let m know

YES and NO.....
YES If you want to apply for the Commonwealth Scholarship then YES NTS is the only way/method for it..... as the Commonwealth Commission requires each member country of the Commonwealth to nominate candidates for each year's Commonwealth Scholarships. The method of selection of nominees is the prerogative of each member country. In the case of Pakistan, the Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (which is the nominating agency for the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in this case) has assigned the task to the NTS to hold a test to determine the order of merit for the purpose of selecting of candidates. NO, NTS is not the only way in case of scholarships that are NOT the Commonwealth scholarships..... Alternatively, each University does indeed have its own Scholarships that have different cut-off dates for selection/award of scholarships. These can be applied to directly. |
