Got five consecutive analytical questions wrong from 65 to 69. I guess I interpreted the statement wrong in that one. :/

How do you prepare for English portion? How do you manage time? In what sequence did you attempt the portions?

i marked approximately 40 mcqs without even reading the statement...test was easy but time was tooooooooooooo short.

In my opinion, the best approach is to start with Maths, then do the English and then Analytical in the end. Ideally, around 35 minutes should be given to Maths, 15 to English and then around 80 minutes to the Analytical part. The trick to managing time is to not waste time on the questions you do not know the answer too, particularly in the English portion. For example, if you do not know the opposite to the word, there is no use of spending time on that. Just choose an answer and get done with it. In maths and analytical, if you feel a question is taking a lot of time, leave that question and proceed to the next one. Then in the last 10 minutes or so, revisit the questions that you skipped earlier. Also if you are quick at arithmetic calculations, that can help you get through the maths section pretty quickly. For English, I didn't do anything other than doing the GRE words, which I was already doing for CSS 15. To be honest, those words were of use for questions of around 5 marks only.
