Contacted KPPSC in the morning :

Was told not to expect result before 5th May ; which essentially means a week time from now on.

It's illogical to expect the final result on the same date or very next date of the conclusion of interviews. It is not simple plus minus game. It is indeed a technical and tiresome task to prepare final list. Expect not earlier than 5th May or may be more late.
Anyway, keep patience and wait for some more days.

The Public Service Commission should now officially fix a date for the result declaration on its official website.

Nerves on edge-can slip either way, emotions dumped-can burst out-eureka! I made it OR Oh God! Some would find themselves on the right side of history while the majority would be standing on the wrong side. Some right siders might be wronged by the system but nearly the majority would be cursing the system. The right siders would be jubilant and in a celebrating mood, the opposite side would be gloomy doomy. Nature would say: The wrong siders can still cross over to the right side by plucking up courage and retaining hope-but none of them would listen to the Nature's calling. That day is near at hand fellows! but I'll be your party, your, your, your......... that wouldn't matter on which side of the aisle you'd be standing-I'll be on your side

Dear Fellows!
It is to clear that I never predicted about the result on a specific date, I just shared views of a PCS officer of BS-18. No one can predict about the result date. Just pray for the benevolence of all of us please. Secondly, brothers, every one is "piara" or "piari" because Holy Quran says "Khalaqal Insana fi ahsan e taqweem".

Dear All,

I spoke to a friend of mine in KPPSC office. He told me about interesting facts which makes sense as well. He said that result is expected anytime but the commission has generally asked for the result to be within 10 days but this may not be necessarily the case. At times there are delays in it. Beside that he added that there is secrecy in this information so dont ask everyone to tell you about the result. He said that they keep it secret until they go to the Web developer 5-10 minutes before the COB where the result is uploaded. Thats why the results are normally announced at the final hour of a business day. He requested me not to ask everyone in the office again and again as no one knows the answers but just speculations. So have patience!!!

bathoor! Please explain your comment. Why is the delay? Have you asked him about your result/ merit or the date at which it would be announced?
