Assalam o alaikum .. O wanted to ask you people that I did my B.A in 2012 when I was not married and my name was then changed after marriage when I was doing masters.. When I was receiving my laptop the administration just made me a criminal case that ua name in ua documents and in ur ID is different and just made me go home 3 times to provide other evidences that I am who I was
Now am filling my PMS form and confused whether to write my name which was in academic documents and form-B or to write the new one in ID
O don't want to become ineligible because of this ;(

You should write your academic name before marry. If you have changed your name after marriage then you must should attach the previous and current one. Further, wait for some seniors' comments.

Regarding your query, most of the times Public Service Commissions ask for name that is in your Matriculation certificate. It is understood that after marriage your name changed because when you'll be filling form, you will fill your husband's name there.

Do look for instruction when filling PMS form and I'm sure it will ask for name that is in your matriculation certificate even CSS online form asks for name according to matriculation certificate.


I don't know why University administration did that but it would have been understood that after marriage a female candidate's name is changed. They should have know that but I guess they forgot.
