My advice to you will be to start preparation on your own. Read Dawn and few magazines like JWT, Press review etc extensively . Make a list of the most important events of the past 6 months and jot down all the relevant information. Cross-question yourself in each and every topic.

Thank a lot bro for the advice..but how to prepare for psychological tests..as I heard that there will be two days psychological tests,both written and oral..last time some of my friends properly prepare themselves and conducted mok interviews etc..wht u suggest?

I have recently been through Psychometric tests for recruitment in Ministry of Defence. I answered everything honestly without even preparing a day for it and by the grace of Almighty, I am one among the qualifiers. There is nothing in particular to prepare. You just have to analyse yourself as they ask questions of MCQ type regarding your personality. As far IQ questions, practice them online.

today I called MM academy. they have arranged all CSS officers (all CSS 2013 allocators) as their faculty. they are of DMG and IRS (cant recall their names!!!)

Kips,I guess would be good for interview preparation.

PMS Psychological Test contains discussions on a topic in Urdu as well as in English, so, you can groom your this skill by group discussions. The rest of the Psychological Test is a piece of cake which you can easily qualify by using a cool and calculated approach. And for the final interview, self-preps is enough. Regards

I think HH academy is more a better option..i went there today and quite satisfy from there staff and methadology

Dear Don't waste your time and money and don't join any academy . so you must meet with the Previous Pms officers. you must revise your course . and if you are a employee of any organization you must study your job description and experience bx they will ask question to your job related

Thank a lot bro for the advice but it's my first attempt and honestly speaking I dnt know any pms or css officer..so how to take guidance from them..there in academy I find dozen of csp and pms officer..wht u suggest now?

It's one' s own decision whether to join an academy or not.

In any case, I would suggest you to get proper and complete guidance and coaching (May it be from academy or anyone you know)

The panel easily differentiates the prepared ones from the unprepared ones.

It happened with me on last pms interview.

i dont understand how such a large number of students managed to get through in PMS....

agree with you sir as only two days prep gives me lot of confident here in HH ACADEMY..they are having very senior DMG & PMS officers in there faculty..the already 13 students group is also very co-operative..looking for ur further guidance.

i went to KIPS,they dont have any viva prep classes still..but i found HH ACADEMY perfectly suitable for viva prep

brother HH ACADEMY main already aik group ban chuka hai of 13 to 15 students..they are charging 10 thousand for complete course..they are having a female psychologist and a group of dozen DMG & PMS officer for guidance..preparing for both written and oral..i like above all the group student co-operation with each other

Any 2nd time qualifier joining academy? I think all those joining academies are first time qualifiers, 2nd time qualifiers must already have enough experience.

yes there are 3 candidates who are 2nd time qualifier..moreover 5 of them are css qualifier also..but above all they all are very co-operative

No there is no such option in pms..its an open group selection..you will be posted according to the discretion of the establishment department either in field or sectariat..

There will be group discussion also as wel there will be different written and psychological tests also..i will recommend you strongly to once visit HH academy must..

the course duration is one month..and it is located in uni-town near bhitani plaza tutti frutti ice cream..0915853900 there contact number..5 mock viva.daily group discussion and aptitude tests plus psychological with psychologist twice a week..means they are having a complete package..the students number is 27 there now in 3 days only

they have faculty of teachers who have passed CSS about 5-6 years back and are serving in their depts. they are available on request

2. HH ACADEMY

they are offering all the modules with the guidance of PMS officers of last batch


3. MM ACADEMY

they have the faculty of CSS 2013 qualifiers. They have kpk CSS topper who had also topped last pms interview. Others include DMG officers (recently selected).

All of the three academies are offering same modules.

The only difference is of faculty.

So it's upto you which faculty you think is better

Yup i visited them and wt i hv infered is that Faculty wise MM academy offers the best...it has DMG n IRS officers from 2013 batch...

Last time candidates were called in alphabetical order irrespective of zonal considerations. If the commission would follow the same strategy then history would repeat itself...... Regards

you are quite right brother just to add one thing into your info that in HH there is RAZA ALI HABIB & SANA ULLAH SAHAB also..one is OMG 37th common and the other is senior DMG..plus they have recently engage DOC JAVED IQBAL for psychological...still i will say one should visit all the academies..
