they had issued a corrigendum , in advertisement number 01/2015 that civil engineers and equivalent qualified people are only eligible, and even still they had put electrical and mech portion in today's test , why? , now if someone from electrical and mechanical scores and is called for interview then there will be issues and problems, neither they nor the one who was eligible would get an opportunity for an interview, this is a major blunder on the part of kppsc and those who were reponsible should be held accountable, there were lot of guys who came for test, not belonging to civil discipline.

result has been announced,
anyone else who took the test
can someone please tell, will the commission call electrical and mech engineers even after the corrigendum as there were lot of elec/mech engineers who took the test.
I secured 57 marks and stand 11th in the province there are two open seats will they call me or not?

any credible information with someone whether candidates will be called for interiew irrespective of their field or only civil engineers will be called?

Only civil engineers will be called . i called kppsc several time and they said that only civil engineers will be called for interview.

Assistant engineer cutoff marks in lgrd department. The target cutoff marks are 56 for merit which is very high. Which means they have called other engineering disciplines apart from civil as well. Which most probably are going to be rejected in interview. As the result I compiled had a lot of elect and mech engineers in the score above 56 & kppsc representative reiterated to me that these posts are just for civil.
This is just the incompetence of Kppsc.

I don't think there are 21 candidates above 56 even if they include other fields as well. Do you know if there are really 21 candidates (including other fields' candidates) above/equal 56?

Yea their are exactly 21 candidates having 56 and above marks. With candidates from all background of engineering. I have compiled a result in ms excel.
