AoA fellow brothers and sisters! I wanted some tips on preparing for an interview for the post of Asst. Director in Local Govt, elections & Rural Development. I scored 74 and belong to Zone-4 so I'm hopeful I'll be called. Tips from anyone especially who were employed through Public Service Commission in any area would be helpful. Regards!

I have given the Interview for Inspector Weight and Measures (BPS-16) in Labor Department in June 2014...

Although, i was not recommended, but i will share my experience of KPK Commission Interview...

Questions are as under:

1. Introduce yourself?
2. State your academic career with title of degree, institution, marks percentage starting from Matric.
3. What you do now a days?
4. Why you choose this job?
5. What are the job responsibilities of this job?
6. Narrate an "Ayah" from "Quran" or state a "Hadith" of Muhammad (SAWW) which emphasizes the need for correct measurement in daily matters.
7. On Which "Nation" Allah descend "Azab" due to incorrect measurement in daily matters.
8. In 1 liter, how many Kilograms are there.
9. Let us suppose you are Inspector Weight, you visit Nestle Milk Pack Company and assigned the task to check the measurement of 1 Liter Milk Pack. How you will measure the milk pack and ensure that, it correctly have 1 Liter of Milk exactly.
10. In markets, how you will convince the sellers sell things with accurate measurement. Explain your strategy.
11. I write in my hobbies "Speech". The panel said me to deliver a speech on corruption and bribe.

Thats all...

What questions should I expect? Will they test me academically which is a poor way to judge anyone for a job tbh. or will they ask about skills etc.
