i think candidates would be round about 3000-3500. cutoff marks are hard to guess as negative marking criteria is going to play a critical role.

Yeah, i phoned them yesterday asking about the total marks. They said that "most candidates have scored very low owing to the negative marking, and we have to call some candidates for the interview after all,that's why we have augmented total marks to 400".

To be honest i couldn't make anything of this answer.they could have done the same thing by keeping the marks 200. This 400 marks philosophy for interviw purpose is beyond my ken.

They have their own maths. They had no clue about negative marking formula yet they went for it. Negative marking works most of the times on the basis of 2 minus 1/4(0.25) or 1/2(0.50) and they could have applied it rather than 2 minus 1.

Kppsc should have announced result of afc by now. Any news?? Result got too much delayed

Vacancies of AFC seem to be sold by KPPSC as they did with the TMO and DYO. Only one seat was allocated to each zone.
