Bro, IR proved like a nightmare for CSS-2012(nobody crossed 50). so you have to prepare it quite properly. In depth study of all the important topics may help you to get through.

Dear KPKPMS Aspirants!
If you are talking about MCQs, they were there since the inception pf PMS. Lat year when I was among the candidates, there were MCQs in Current Affairs, Pak Affairs and Pashto. So be ready there might be MCQs based questions in the rest of papers barring Essay.
