Q. 1 Compare Plato's Republic with al-Farabi's Madina Al-Fazila and pinpoint the diferences in the constructions of the ideals of the two thinkers.


Q. 2 "Machiavelli was a moral rather than immoral in his politics". Offer your comments on this statement.


Q. 3 what arguments have been advanced by John Stuart Mill in support of Freedom of thought and Expression?. Towards the closing years of his life, Mill concedes a measure of state interference in individual's affairs. What were those?

Q. 4 why and what grounds id Iqbal oppose and criticise Western Democracy? What type of government did he recomended for Muslims of his times?

Q. 2 Do you agree that the British Cabinet has established its supremacy and dictatorship over the Parliament? Argue in support of your point of view.

Q. 3 Discuss the salient feature of French Political System.


(Part- B)

Q. 4 Do you agree that 1973 constitution of Pakistan has lost its original form and spirit because of unnecessary amendments?Discuss it in this context.

Q. 5 India is considered as the biggest democracy of asia.Compare it with Pakistan and find out the reasons that why it could not be at par with india.

Q. 6 Mustafa Kamal's political philosophy provided a sound basis to the Turkish political system. discuss it n details.

Q.7 Discuss the existing threats to the Federation of Pakistan. Also suggest some workable solutions for it.
