Dear, this is Pakistan. You can expect any thing here!! Well, it may be 99% true that the written marks are not leaked out before announcement of final result. However, some candidates may come to know about their marks prior to result announcement possibly through the source you have mentioned. I personally know one of my university class fellow who came to know about his total marks the very next day of his interview because he had some relative working in CSS Secrecy Wing.

If you have a very strong source inside FPSC you may get to know the marks after interview but there is no way you can get to know your marks before interview. Contrary to popular perception, not everyone is for sale in Pakistan and people do have ethics and moral standards. Officials of Secrecy wing have taken oath not to divulge secret information and since they do not stand to gain anything by divulging such information, nothing gets leaked.

i do believe that fpsc officials wouldn't divulge such information before final result proclamation but my friend made me suspicious as he catagorically said that the information is correct and he got 632 marks in written hence hehas rare chances of allocation this time.

i request seniors of this forum to comment on this please.

Brother, our president, prime minister and ministers also take oath... but we know what is the value of this oath is to them... The example I have narrated of a friend of mine is only one such instance... off cource there may be others. As I said FPSC may be credible 99% of the times but there are always loop holes in a system/institution and FPSC is no exception to it.

Well said Usman Khalid.FPSC people are also human beings ,they can fall victim to bribes or succumb to pressure, but having said so we must remember that there are people in every department and circle who believe in justice and fair play and there is no reason to believe that FPSC officials does not fall in latter's category.
