Default Please suggest Laptop

I would like to purchase a laptop. The price range can be around about 45000 - 55000.

Can anyone please suggest me a laptop, price and specification, if possible. Personally, I like HP and dislike Dell.

But expert opinion is needed. Thanks

For not-so-technical usage - study, web surfing, gaming, movie, music etc.

Although I am not an expert...i agree with the Xeric suggestion you can get a good HP core i5..You may check the galaxy.pk site to get a good overview of the laptops prices and specifications.. I have used both company laptops-Hp and Dell- but i personally like Dell, because Dell beats HP in finishing and quality..

Sony Vaio is quite good .I bought it last year and pretty happy with its performance. I bought E-Series i-3 , 2.10 GHz Processor ,its price last year was around 55000 or so .

@rose pak
the best laptop that is worth every buck is LENOVO
in Our society people buy what others have regardless of there needs so you will never hear about this company. they actually bought the laptop wing of IBM.
i am using there machine and am really satisfied with it it will cost you 45000 for a new one with
500 gb hdd , i5 sandy bridge ,4 gb ram ddr3 , 15.6 led , 4-6 usb ports and 6 cell battery
it wll satisfy your beginner to intermediate level needs
hp and dell cost more for the same specs (dell inspiron = 56500) some times even more.
and another imp thing ASK FOR LOCAL WARRANTY avoid dedicated memory laptops they consume more battery and you will not need the extra memory.

here are some websites for further consideration
http://galaxy.pk/form092.html
http://www.mega.pk/laptop/comparison...=4546&model3=0
the prices on the websites are more than the market (1000 to 1500)
