Have checked in detail:

1). Hotspot shield do not work. I had installed it at Pakistan but no working here.

2). Use VPN, you can get it download through Apple store with a monthly cost of .99 dollar. A class fellow is using facebook through this VPN

3). Get Tor browser. I have got its installer from a fellow. He had taken it from his country because its installer cannot be downloaded here because of ISP restrictions. He had transferred it through flash from his laptop to mine and after making certain adjustments, it was installed and i have used facebook today. Further, my university is having two campuses, on one campus this Tor do not work because of certain ISP restrictions but on my campus, it worked.

these things are not working in china, please suggest some thing which help me in using facebook.

check it again brother its working choose solve server not found error in the installation menu you can do that by choosing customize installation there was a time when it was not working but at the moment it is working better than any thing, if its is not working there may be you people are stuck and VPN is service you may forget to include the name

yar there are different ways just google them the problem is THE GREAT FIREWALL or the golden shield is different then our pathetic PTA gateways so you may need to try different thing tor is just unbearable you can use cyber ghost or try to use hotspot shield again with above settings
another thing i used to do was to change my DNS servers to bypass restriction may be that can work it is not working here anymore
another thing i used to use was ARES ITS A P2P SOFTWARE like utorrent but a browser in it may be it has some option to you know by pass that shield

may be you can use these i am sure something will work

From yesterday, am using facebook with the help of TOR Browser, while sitting at West Campus of Beijing Foreign Studies University. I am quite sure that Beijing is in China and if am talking about these things thn its of China not of Pakistan... .

Today also had conversation with a Pakistani here in Beijing, he is in IT industry, and he told that freegate's latest versions help opening of facebook.

Dear fellow, actually am not an IT person and dont know what is VPN etc, but after seeing this post, had tried to find way out. yesterday my class fellow was using facebook and she told me that she had got it installed from Apple store by paying .99 dollar per month.

If these things cannot help, thn its better for him to see some IT expert in his locality!

.99$ is cheap but let him try cyber ghost it also have free server lists
