Need some guide line for English literature
Hi,
Anyone please help me for my study, as i am doing M.A English from Punjab University.. How can i get good marks, what are the main tricks for being first in M.A English. .. . |

You mean we should not consider the previous paper /?
A Biggggg thaaaanks for you,, but the last thing that i want to know is, what about explanations , i mean its too much deffcult to prepare the whole book for being easily handled the passages? ? |

You should but dont rely. Topics are important but not the questions. For example, Love and Marriage theme in "Pride and Prejudice" is important but you can never know how the questions will be posed. Set your focus on themes, symbolism, background, art of characterization, characters, relationships. Read, chew and digest the text and then learn to analyze and to examine critically. Only then you will be able to answer no matter how twisted the question is.
You mean explanation of stanzas and poems with reference to context?

Follow this pattern:
http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-optio...reciation.html Subject: 2-3 lines Attitude: 1 sentence Background: 3-5 lines Explanation: 8-9 lines or as required. Then comes language, imagery, genre and prosody. I will post a sample soon.

While attempting the paper in blue, you can highlight quotes with black marker pen. Using different colors at Masters level looks childish and immature.
