Brother it totally depends upon how much are you interested in this field. As for as its scope is concerned, no doubt there is a lot of demand of journalism. If you are brave enough to face every day issues and can present them on media by facing threats then you can earn a lot both fame and money. You need four years for your degree completion, during this span of time you should keep yourself in touch with newspapers and T.V. , grip on current affairs is a mandatory thing is this regard.

Thanks for the reply .. I am having that in mind no matter how much you are interested, the fame and money comes to those who have a hand of a giant on their shoulder while the rest only grind. What would you say about that?

Secondly, Are those reporters on the streets also journalists? Whats their qualification?

Yes reporters are also journalists they work on small level, they have their own worth and power too in the field of journalism. Their qualification depends upon the Newspapers or Channels' standard that which sort of persons they hire.
As far as your first question is concerned I've already explained brother, it depends on the journalists in which category they belong. . . . . Hope you'll understand my point.
