this depends on many factors, like your interest, scope of the course etc.

to me MBA is of no use at all, unless you do want to pursue your MS level education in business administration! go for MCS!

MBA is not that much worthy as said above by a member. Similarly by doing MCS u cant hav that much speciality in subject. I m computer science graduate (BS 4 year), I know there are lot of stuff in computer science which cant be covered well in 2 years degree. MCS cant be better option too in my view. Go for MA Economics or stats if you can.

MBA for better, convenient, and worth enjoying job. Wider scope, larger job market.

MCS for technical, dry, and passion oriented job.

When your hobby becomes your profession, your profession becomes your passion so identify urself whr u stand
no MCS .. raz iz rite .. itz dry
n MCS restricts u to onli one field..
MBA has wide variety of options and as far as i know more thn 2000 MBA programs are listed worldwide ..Market psyche ha MBA ..
MS meant fo teaching purpose not gud idea.

MBA is evergreen, you will learn different subjects i.e management, marketing, economics, communication, accounting, finance, human resources, computers, IT.

Here you'll be learning about the whole world's organizations, corporate environment, social and ethical, marketing techniques, management and decision making process, entrepreneurship, understanding financial issues, crisis management, economy of the world, and many practical things like, visiting organizations for reporting, presentations, launching marketing campaigns, fund-raising, events, presentations etc etc.

In short it is,
jack of all, master of some!

Regards,

Any sane man will go for MBA...An MBA person can never remain jobless and morover its a fashion as well..'' in thing '' you know.MCS is boring and restricted to teaching area only.MBA has vast scope.

Thanks to all of for ur kind suggestions.
now allow me to take some more attentions from all u members.According to me there is a comparison b/w MBA or MCS.
well, computer is my passion and hobby.doing MCS from VU i have much time for CSS preparation, 2 years degree and also its fee is very low and affordable.
now the second thing MBA from BZU Multan take 3 1/2 years to successful completion also as compare to VU fees are very high.and it is difficult to maintain MBA and CSS preparation both together.i don't want to do any other degree except MBA OR MCS.
please comments...........

Regards

If you want to climb up the corporate ladder and potentially become a CEO one day go for MBA.

If you want to restrict yourself in a support function of an organization i.e. IT, unless you are working in a software house, then go for MCS.

What job you shall get after MBA depends on the quality of the institution you have graduated from. It is highly recommended that one starts his/her MBA after gaining few years of practical work experience.

The nature of my job is such that I meet CEOs/Presidents of commercial banks, FIs and industrial corporates on regular basis. I am yet to meet someone who is MCS only. However, many have MBA degrees.
