Sis I've applied for MPhil English Linguistics in NUML. If you would apply for MPhil English Literature, you need not to worry about seat allocation. You'll easily get admission if you fulfill the minimum qualification requirement and clear the NUML's administered test.

Regarding test for English Literature, I saw sample of English Linguistics but not for Literature. But most probably you will have to answer 4-5 questions regarding a certain literary age, its characteristics, important respective literary giants, important literary movements etc. I am sure, however, that the test would be subjective and you'll be required to answer in detail USING YOUR OWN IDEAS.

I would try to get hold of the specimen for English Literature Test, but can't promise. Shortly, I find myself unable to fulfill my promises.

After two years of studying on campus, one can develop a few sources... I will try to upload the test herein.

I have previously mentioned it too that it depends on your aptitude, if you are inclined towards literature you should go for it. On the contrary, if you think you can do well in linguistics, you should, without any second thought, go for linguistics. But if you want to know what values more in Pakistani Market than its linguistics that has more value.

4 questions hain and time would be 2 hours.
