can anyone pls help me regarding preparation of GRE(local) test which is conducted by NTS. Where should i prepare from???

GRE local actually refers to GAT Subject test conducted by NTS.It is meant for admission in PhD in relevant subject. To be eligible for admission , one has to score minimum 60 marks out of 100.

30 percent of the paper consist of General Section, equally divided in two English and reasoning section. Subject for which the test is organised constitutes rest of the 70 perecnt portion. No book has been devised for this test so far. Out lines and syllabus is given. You can consult your text books for prepration.

GAT General is required only for Scholarships. If you want to take admission in MS/Mphil (MS leading to PHD), you have to clear GAT Subject.

Arain ye gree local or GAT general ma kya difference hota ha. but mere friend ne to gat general ka test dya tha m.phill ke admission ke lya in a university.

GAT-Subject is also called as GRE (local).
Some universities require GAT-General for admission in M-Phill. But for admission in Ph.D in any university, you have to clear GAT-Subject.

well thanx everyone for contribution..i required this info for scholarship test..Gre(local) is more lyk a GAT(subject) test but for every scholarship nts publishes paper pattern as well and dat particular test is called Gre(local)
