Well, as per my experience, I can tell you this subject is very teacher based., The teacher of our class were Miss Iram Shahzadi who rarely touched the prescribed books., she came up with hand written notes (same notes are used from many teachers, I guess)., which she used to dictate in class,. the one who can RATTALIZE that., would get SCIENTIFIC marks., ( My marks are 136/150) (though I don't consider well versed in this Linguistic Area, My interest have always been in Literature)

Some other batch mates were taught from the prescribed books., and they were not told to almost reproduce that stuff.,

I always felt these notes were quite easy than that bookish foreign language., You can consult to Miss Iram, and I believe she would surely help you out, to get them copied., BUT DO SEEK THE APPROVAL OF YOUR TEACHER BEFORE USING THEM FOR EXAMS PREPARATION.

well thanks can u plz tell me whre i can find her whr is her staff room secondly am external candidate so i dont have teacher...i have to visit uni day after tommorow so plz guide me how i can hold of phonetics n phonology notes?

Got a news that she is abroad nowadays., there are two staffrooms for English faculty (Post Graduate) one in Ghazali Block the other in Jinnah Bloch., mostly female teachers use to sit there in Jinnah Block, (entrance can be found on the backside, stairs starts right above the Generator Area.) If she is not found in case of being abroad you can ask for the same notes from Maem Aqsa., Maem Attiya., Maem Bushra or specially Maem Ambrina they are all very generous and helpful.
