Question MBA from where??
I am an engineer... Wanna switch to business administration.... could seniors guide me which institute is better in terms of job placement after completing my MBA degree?? People have been guiding me to go for zabist or Cbm... some were also saying Iqra and Qau are good ....

Well any suggestion will be appreciated... waiting for replies thanks

Well it's upto your cgpa and a lot more depends on university selection criteria. For MBA Lums is on Top, follwoing IBA and IQRA(Karachi) second and third. IBA and LUMS have tought criteria. However QAU and ZABIST are going very well now a days. I would recommend you QAU.

i cant afford Lums, and IBA needs 2 year work experience in order to get u enrolled -__- ...
Now i am very much confused between Szabist and Iobm(CBM) ... but theres sessions are gonna start in August...

I am not a little sure about the marketability of QAU... would MBA from there worth it or not??

i) If you can make way to get admission in some reputable foreign university then try to use that option, one can get scholarship etc for it as well.

ii). In Pakistan, as fellow member has described, LUMS is at No.1, try to get admission in LUMS. As far as affordability is concerned, there are many organizations/companies which offer scholarships/loans for study at LUMS, you can try to avail that facility.

iii). In case you cannot get admission there thn IBA Karachi is a good option. Alternatively, try to go for QAU or FAST or Iqra then think about SZABIST/CBM (IBM).

iv). As regards marketability of MBA from QAU, dear the name of university also matters and QAU is holding a good repute so there wont be much problem of its marketability.

Thanks for your very comprehensive reply...
but sir i went to LUMS they actually said they are not providing any financial student now...
And i know QAU is a no 1 general University of Pakistan... I am just not sure quaid i azam School of Management and Sciences QASMS is as reputable as other business schools like Lums IBA and Szabist...

They do not provide, but some organizations/companies etc may offer some scholarships or educational loan type thing to students with an agreement that after completing their studies, the student will return the loan money or the student will serve in their organization for some specific time, where they will give him pay and cut some monthly amount from his/her pay etc..!

You are right, LUMS and IBA are of course reputable institutions of management sciences in our country. However, QAU's School of Management Sciences is at its nascent stages and will gradually develop its repute, however, its general name is sufficient to get you a good job after completing your studies.

yeah... but is there a surety that i would get a loan from bank.....do they give it to everyone??

You are right, LUMS and IBA are of course reputable institutions of management sciences in our country. However, QAU's School of Management Sciences is at its nascent stages and will gradually develop its repute, however, its general name is sufficient to get you a good job after completing your studies.
