dear it depends upon yours interest, objectives and constraints...what i think the best is CFA. and secondly you can't compare these qualifications. because they are itself different field

CFA is a self-study, graduate-level program for investment professionals.

The three-year program requires you to study for and pass three levels of exams. If you pass the exams and meet other requirements, you earn a CFA charter.

To earn the CFA charter, you must successfully pass through the CFA Program, a graduate-level self-study program that combines a broad curriculum with professional conduct requirements, culminating in a series of three sequential exams. Level I exams are held in June and December. Levels II and III are only held in June.

I recommend you must accquired 3 year plus experince in investment feild before talking CFA level 2 atleast.. (becuase thats all related with one`s Practical experience)

Try to find out what is most compitable for you.. MBA is General course.. if you are an MBA, Consider youself player for all instead of specialist. thats the difference. You can go with any professional course after MBA, It depends on your intrest and experience.

1) CFA is for Investment/analysis Professionals (best for financial industry/banking)

2) FRM is for Risk Management Professionals (finance/banking/leasing/insurance industry)

3) ACCA and CA are the chartered accountants - related with accounts/tax (not a good idea after MBA) it is designed for Intermediates as it reuired to do a long articleship.. it will take time, and after MBA (17 years of education.. it will not be a good idea)

4) ACMA is cost and management accountants ( if you want work with manufacturing concern, go with ACMA)

After doing any of the above course you will be called specialist.. All courses have different feilds and scope. choose your option.

Im also an MBA (finance) and want to do a specialization but waiting for the right time. I am currently working with a DFI (development financial institution) in risk management department, i have decided to gain some practical knowledge of atleast 2-3 years, and after that i will do FRM or CFA. Currently iam doing JAIBP and accquiring some basic knowldege of banking and investment feild.

IF you don't have any sort of financial worries at your back then you must go for CFA as it's short in duration and it has no alternative in it's field ACCA ACMA would be longer duration degrees and as of ACCA it's market worth is overshadowed by CA in Pakistan. as far as ACMA is concerned it is a best professional degree for a manufacturing sector not only in pakistan but all across the globe but the passing out ratio is much less in it.

if you go for ACMA. 9 out of 18 papers would be exempted to the MBA (Fin) passed students. You can do it in 3 semesters (1.5 Years).

Regards
