Want to persue career in Taxation
Guys I need some insightful comments from all you experienced professionals. I am a Finance MBA (July 2011) and currently working in a bank since the past 2 years.
Further to enhance my qualification I am thinking about acquiring few certifications as I intend to move out of the banking sector. I am looking into the possibility to move into the taxation sector, but before that I want to acquire some sort of certification or a short course which would give me the highlights of the sector. If any of you have any such info to share with me, please do so. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated. |

As per Income Tax Rules 2002 you are still eligible to be registered as an Income Tax Practitioner being an MBA and if you have one year of experience as an apprentice under the supervision of a chartered accountant, cost and management accountant, legal practitioners entitled to practice in a civil court in Pakistan or a registered income tax practitioner
So I would suggest you, if you are serious in starting taxation career, follow these steps:
Your license serves as the best certification in taxation.
