Cisco vs Microsoft Certification
I am a Telecom Engineer. And i am planning to pass some networking certification exam. Can anybody guide me is it better to do Cisco or Microsoft networking certification?
Also guide me will this be beneficial if i do some system administration certification? Also tell me in what order should i attempt/give these exams as these are quite expensive i can only afford them after 2 months. Basically I am a computer worm that is why I am try to get rid off my field and trying to enter into computer system. My programming is also good. Hope somebody will reply soon. Waiting for good response. Thank you |

Well , Cisco is purely networking certification, that deals with routers , switches, communication between the networks, protocols, network designs, network security etc. it goes as u go up the certification hierarchy
Microsoft is u can say system administration side, that includes managing servers, installing , configuring, active directories, users, groups, roles, policies, creating DNS servers, DHCP servers, ... in short server track of microsoft deals with playing with servers . |
