Dear!
In annual system, throughout Pakistan, 2nd division starts from 40% marks up to 60% while 1st division starts from 60% onward. So again do your calculation and find out how many more marks you need to qualify for the 1st division. Moreover, if you want to improve your score by re-examination, so you'll have to attempt the whole exam again not one or several papers, as is the rule in my university, anyhow you should contact the controller of examination in this regard. Good Luck!

so sad ! you are just 5 marks short ..... i think you should visit PU and ask them if you may reappear for just one exam to improve your marks .... this option of improving is now available for matric and intermediate , as per my info ..... maybe PU also allows that for BA and MA ... best of luck

Dear you should contact the controller of exam and inquire about grace marks, in some universities, the facility of grace marks is provided to those stidents who couldn't get up to five marks to secure 1st or 2nd division. so do contact to get urself out from this confusion. Good luck!

One thing I forgot to mention was that a fraction more than 50 is counted as 1, so if you've got 59.51 onward, your marks would be counted as 60%, so don't worry you might have got 1st division.
Good luck!
