ishaa let me know that whether u r appearing as private candidate or a regular one?
in M.A English part one the above 5 novels are British novels or u may call them classical novels. Jazz and For Whom The Bell Tolls are in American Literature section they are modern novels. There are five papers of M.A English (pvt.) 1. classical poetry (6 poets) 2. classical drama (5 dramatists) 3 classical novel (5 novelists) 4. prose (5 philosophers or analysts you may call them) 5. American literature (2 novelists, 2 dramatists, 4 poets) hope you can understand now. if you have still any confusion just go to a bookshop and ask for the syllabus of English Literature by p.u. in regular masters the syllabus is same but it is covered through semesters in which the syllabus of part 1 and 2 is mixed in some semesters. (i did as private candidate while my sister did it as regular one) |
