A box contain 785 balls whose colors r red, white and blue. The red and white together no. 605, and white and blue no. 471. How many of them r white?
A) 291
B) 180
C) 314
D) 219

Answer it!!

No of white balls = 291

Working:
red+white+blue = 785
red+white = 605
=> 605+blue = 785 => blue = 180
Now
white+blue = 471
=> white = 471 - 180 = 291

Try this !!!!

A man wanted to get into his work building, but he had forgotten his code. However, he did remember five clues. These are what those clues were: (how could he forgot the code I am not sure cuz the clues were harder to remember then the code itself)

The fifth number plus the third number equals fourteen.
The fourth number is one more than the second number.
The first number is one less than twice the second number.
The second number plus the third number equals ten.
The sum of all five numbers is 30.

What were the five numbers and in what order?

I really like such kind of number tricks.Well done umer.First one is really easy and second one is little bothering.

a+b+c+d+e = 30

incorporating information

(2b-1)+b+c+(b+1)+e = 30

i.e 4b+c+e = 30
again incorporating information

4b+14 =30......... people on this forum are wise enough to solve the remaining

Answer this.There are seven girls in a bus.Each girl has seven bags and in each bag there are seven big cats.Each big cat has seven small cats.Can you count total number of legs in the bus? There is no other person in the bus.
